About the deliverability test

How does this email deliverability test work?

You send a real message to an inbox you own, then paste its original source here. The headers show how the receiving server judged SPF, DKIM and DMARC. We add live checks of your DNS records, your unsubscribe headers and a content spam score, and combine them into a score out of 10.

Which inbox should I send the test to?

Gmail is the best choice because it is the strictest large provider and shows clear verdicts. Outlook and Yahoo work too. Send from the same platform and domain you use for real campaigns, or the test tells you nothing about them.

Why use my own inbox instead of a test address?

Your inbox gives you the verdict of a real mailbox provider, which is what decides where your mail lands. It also means you never send your content to a third-party address.

Is the message stored?

No. The headers are analyzed in your browser. The message is sent to our server only to score the content and look up DNS, and it is not saved.

I scored 10 out of 10. Why did it still go to spam?

A perfect setup gets you considered, not delivered. Placement also depends on your sending reputation: complaint rates, list quality, sudden volume jumps and how recipients engage. Warm up new domains and keep sending to people who open.
