Is the email template builder really free?
Yes. Build, preview and export as many templates as you like without creating an account. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you build is uploaded to our servers.
Will the exported HTML work in Gmail and Outlook?
The builder exports table-based HTML with inline styles, a bulletproof VML button for Outlook desktop, and a single mobile breakpoint. That is the same approach professional email developers hand-code, so it renders consistently in Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, Yahoo and the major mobile clients.
Can I use the template with my own email platform?
Yes. Copy or download the HTML and paste it into any tool that accepts custom HTML emails: Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, ActiveCampaign, Amazon SES, or a self-hosted platform like Broadcast. Merge tags are written in the common {{ name }} format so you can map them to your platform.
Where are my designs saved?
In your browser. The builder autosaves to local storage on this device, so you can close the tab and come back later. Use Export JSON to keep a copy or move a design to another computer, and Import JSON to load it again.
Can I add my own images?
Paste the URL of any image already hosted online, for example on your website, a CDN or your email platform. Email clients cannot display images that only exist on your computer, which is why the builder works with URLs rather than uploads.
Why should the email be 600 pixels wide?
600 pixels is the width that fits the preview pane of every major desktop client without horizontal scrolling and scales cleanly down to phones. You can change it in the theme settings, but 600 is the safe default.
