You ask, we ship

In July 2026 an agency customer sent us a list of requests. Here is when each one shipped.

What a customer asked for Asked Shipped Days
Find subscribers by email domain, clone templates and segments, and see bounce and spam rates on each broadcast Jul 24, 2026 v2.18.0, Jul 26 2
Opens and clicks in each subscriber’s activity, template tags, and copying a template to another channel Jul 24, 2026 v2.18.0, Jul 26 2
CSV export of subscribers, broadcasts and broadcast activity Jul 24, 2026 v2.19.0, Jul 26 2

Customers ask by email and on Discord. Both are included with every license.

Why release speed matters for email

Email does not stand still. Gmail and Yahoo change their sender rules. Providers change their APIs. Subscribers expect a preference page and a one-click unsubscribe. A tool that ships every week fixes these things before they cost you a send.

Updates are only useful if you install them. In Broadcast, the dashboard tells you when a release is out. You click Upgrade now, and a short tour shows what changed. You do not need to open a terminal.

Every 2.x update is included. Version 2.0 shipped on March 16, 2026. A license bought that day has received all 80 releases of version 2 at no extra cost.

What about Sendy?

Sendy is not in the chart because its release notes have no dates. Here is what we can count.

Sendy 7 came out in May 2026 as a paid upgrade. Its notes list 13 releases from 7.0 to 7.1.5. Broadcast published 51 releases from May 1, 2026 to today, and none of them cost extra.

What about Beehiiv, Kit and ActiveCampaign?

Hosted tools ship all the time, but they do not publish a versioned changelog, so there is nothing fair to count. They also decide what you get and when, and you pay for it every month as your list grows.

Broadcast costs one price. The updates are included, and you choose when to install them.

How we count

  • A release is any published version. Drafts and pre-releases do not count.
  • Broadcast’s releases come from our public changelog. Listmonk, Mautic and Keila come from their GitHub releases, fetched every day.
  • A feature release is a version whose last number is 0, such as 2.40.0. Patch releases such as 2.40.1 count as releases but not as feature releases.
  • Mautic maintains more than one version at a time, so one security fix can appear as three releases on the same day. We count all of them. This helps Mautic’s number, not ours.
  • The current month is partial. The chart runs from November 1, 2025 to today.

Still deciding?

Comparisons cover the tradeoffs. How To covers whether Broadcast does the specific thing you need, organized by what you are trying to accomplish rather than by feature name. If the answer is no, it says no.
