- Do I need to be technical?
- Broadcast is self-hosted software. Most customers are developers, technical founders, agencies, email consultants, or people already comfortable with self-hosted tools. You'll deploy it on an Ubuntu server and connect an email provider like SES, Postmark, Mailgun, SendGrid, or SMTP.
- What email providers work?
- Amazon SES, Postmark, Mailgun, SendGrid, and any generic SMTP server. You bring your own provider account — Broadcast handles list management, campaigns, automations, and analytics on top of it.
- Is support included?
- Yes. Every license includes email support and access to the documentation. Bug fixes and new releases are included for the lifetime of your license.
- Do you install it for me?
- We don't offer a done-for-you installation service. Most customers run the automated installer themselves on their own Ubuntu server. If you get stuck, email support and we'll help you through it.
- Is this a SaaS?
- No. Broadcast is software you buy once and host on your own server. There is no monthly subscription, no per-subscriber fee, and no data sitting on our servers. You own your platform.
- Can I use this for client projects?
- Yes, with the Extended License. The Regular License is for a single business; the Extended License lets you deploy Broadcast for clients and across multiple brands. See pricing →
- What happens after I buy?
- You'll receive an email with your license key and access to the installation guide immediately. From there, deploy the app on your Ubuntu server, connect your email provider, and import your subscribers.
