Which email provider should I use?
Broadcast does not send mail itself. It manages your list, builds the campaign, and hands each message to an email provider you control. That separation is why you keep your sending reputation when you switch tools.
Supported providers
Broadcast integrates with AWS SES, Postmark, SendGrid, Mailgun, Resend, SMTP.com and Inboxroad, and can send over plain SMTP to anything else. The integrations documentation has the feature comparison across providers.
Guided setup
For Postmark, AWS SES, SendGrid, and Mailgun there are setup wizards that create the sending configuration and wire up webhooks for you. Use them rather than manual setup unless you have a reason not to. There are dedicated guides for AWS SES and Postmark.

How to pick
The honest short version: AWS SES is cheapest at volume and the most work to set up. Postmark is the easiest to get right and strict about what you may send through it. SendGrid and Mailgun sit in between. If you already have a provider you are happy with, keep it.
The email providers overview goes into the tradeoffs, and SES vs Postmark vs Mailgun compares the three directly.

Connect more than one
An install can have several email servers, and channels can each use their own. Common reasons: separating transactional from marketing traffic, or keeping brands on separate reputations. Each server has its own hourly rate limit.
Set up webhooks either way
Whichever you pick, configure ESP webhooks. Without them Broadcast cannot see deliveries, bounces, or complaints, and auto-suppression will not fire.
