V1 License
Currently, Broadcast is in development for version 1.x.
For all customers of the v1.x license, you will receive updates for the entirety of the v1.x series.
Broadcast is designed on top of Ruby on Rails v8.x.x, and as such will follow Ruby on Rails’ release cycle.
Rails v8.x.x is anticipated to be supported until 2028 or 2029.
After that time when Rails v9 is released, Broadcast will release version 2.x.x along with new features and improvements. To continue receiving updates and to ensure a sustainable development model, v1.x customers wishing to upgrade will need to purcahse a new license at that time at our discounted upgrade price.
